Our name, Full Circle Family Medicine, reflects Dr. McNabb's professional journey from starting private practice in Mooresville in 1985, to transitioning into medical teaching from 1993 - 2000 and finally returning to private practice in 2001. After moving around the country, the office is now adjacent to the original practice started over 20 years ago. Kristi Campbell, FNP joined the practice in October 2006. The name, Full Circle, encompasses our philosophy of caring for all members of a family and all medical conditions that may develop.

What is a Nurse Practitioner?

Kristi Campbell in a family nurse practitioner.  NPs are advanced practice nurses who provide high-quality health care services similar to those of a doctor. NPs diagnose and treat a range of health problems. They have a unique approach and stress both care and cure. Besides clinical care, NPs focus on health promotion, disease prevention, health education and counseling. They help patients make wise health and lifestyle choices.  NPs have graduate, advanced education and clinical training beyond their registered nurse preparation. Most, like Kristi, have master’s degrees.

From treating illness to advising patients on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, NPs provide a full range of services. Patients who see NPs report an extremely high level of satisfaction with the care they receive.  Among the many services that NPs provide, they:
